INSTRUCTIONAL PHILOSOPHY

The Sabine Parish School Board and staff believe that each child is an individual of great worth and is entitled to develop to the fullest potential; that respect for self, for fellow human beings, and for the values of our democratic way of life is an important part of each child's development; that education should lead to an enthusiasm for life and a love for learning and inquiry to help make it possible for each child to successfully meet the challenges he/she faces in a rapidly changing society.

The Board feels that the school should provide for the basic needs of youth by providing a stimulating environment which offers security, love, compassion, understanding and respect.  The Board also believes that the Sabine Parish Schools and the communities they serve are mutually dependent upon and responsible to each other and that the schools should be agents of needed and socially accepted change.
