1. Meeting Opening
The Parish School Board of Many, Louisiana, Sabine Parish, met in public session on May 10, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at the regular meeting place of said Board, with the following members present: Terrell Snelling, Board President; Dr. Leah Byles, Board Vice President; Daron Chandler, Spencer Faust, Donald Garcie, Genevieve Gordon, Kowonno Greene, Donald Remedies and Dale Skinner.
Absent: None.
At 5:30 p.m. the regular meeting of the Board began with a Call to Order by President Terrell D. Snelling. Spencer Faust gave the Invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance was rendered.
2. Recognition of Visitors
None.
3. Consent Agenda
On motion of Daron Chandler and seconded by Donald Remedies, Consent Agenda Items 3A – 3F were approved as follows:
A. Approve and adopt Regular Board Meeting Minutes of April 12, 2021;
B. Approve and adopt the following policy(ies) (first reading):
a. DFM – Disposal of Surplus Equipment and Supplies;
C. Approve and adopt Head Start CRRS (Covid-19) Grant #06HE000948 – 2021-2023
D. Approve and adopt Educator Career Opportunity Expansion Budget
E. Approve authorization of additional $30,000 to Principal Operating B&E Budget allocation for NHS, ZES and ZHS schools;
F. Approve Consent Agenda Items 3A-3F.
4. Regular Agenda Items
A. On motion of Donald Garcie and seconded by Genevieve Gordon it was carried to approve Achieve ESSER II Action 1 Budget and ESSER IIIEB Interventions Budget as presented.
B. On motion of Daron Chandler and seconded by Dale Skinner, it was carried to award Audit Services Proposal to Fortenberry and Ballard, PC for the Fiscal Years ending June 30, 2021 and 2022.
C. On motion of Dr. Leah Byles and seconded by Kowonno Greene, it was carried to authorize Administration to make publications necessary for budget adoption and post required notices when appropriate.
D. Rodney Wilson, Director of Finance, reads the Millage Rates Resolution. On motion by Dale Skinner and seconded by Daron Chandler, after a public comment period, it was carried to approve and adopt Millage Rates Resolution as presented.

RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED, that the following millage(s) are hereby levied on the 2021 tax roll on all property subject to taxation by SABINE PARISH SCHOOL BOARD:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper administrative officials of the Parish of Sabine, State of Louisiana, be and they are hereby empowered, authorized, and directed to spread said taxes, as hereinabove set forth, upon the assessment roll of said Parish for the year 2021, and to make the collection of the taxes imposed for and on behalf of the taxing authority, according to law, and that the taxes herein levied shall become a permanent lien and privilege on all property subject to taxation as herein set forth, and collection thereof shall be enforceable in the manner provided by law.
The foregoing resolution was read in full, the roll was called on the adoption thereof, and the resolution was adopted by the following votes:

E. After a brief discussion regarding the MHS track upkeep, usage and expenses, on motion by Donald Remedies and seconded by Dr. Dr. Leah Byles, it was carried to table the issue.
