1.       Meeting Opening:

The Parish School Board of Many, Louisiana, Sabine Parish, met in public session on November 9, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. at the regular meeting place of said Board, with the following members present:  Terrell Snelling, Board President, Dr. Leah Byles, Board Vice-President; Daron Chandler, Spencer Faust, Donald Garcie, Genevieve Gordon, Kowonno Greene, Donald Remedies and Dale Skinner.

Absent:  None

The meeting was called to order by President Terrell Snelling.  Mr. Spencer Faust offered the Invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance was rendered.

2.       Recognition of Visitors:

No visitors attended.

3.       Consent Agenda:

On motion by Donald Garcie and seconded by Kowonno Greene, it was carried to approve the Consent Agenda as follows:

A.     Approve and adopt Board Meeting Minutes October 19, 2020;

B.     Approve the 2020-2021 Get Ready Cohort Grant;

C.     Approve the Head Start Annual Report 2019-2020;

D.     Approve Transportation Agreement between Many Healthcare North and Sabine Parish School Board;

E.     Approve amendment to Contract between State of Louisiana Board of Regents/LOSFA Program and Sabine Parish School District;

F.     Approve State of Louisiana Department of Education Interagency Agreement and Sabine Parish Public Schools;

G.    Approve 21^st Century (PALS) Budget July 1, 2020 – August 31, 2021;

H.     Approve Consent Agenda Items 3A-3H.

4.      Regular Agenda Items:

A.     On motion of Daron Chandler and seconded by Dr. Leah Byles, it was carried to adopt a Resolution Approving Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire for Audit Engagements.

Resolution to adopt and approve Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire for Audit Engagements

WHEREAS, the Sabine Parish School Board is required to have an Independent Auditor perform an annual audit.

AND WHEREAS, THE LOUISIANA COMPLIANCE QUESTIONNAIRE is part of the Audit for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

AND WHEREAS, the Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire was completed and submitted to the Sabine Parish School Board for Review prior to adoption

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this resolution formally adopts the attached Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire as presented and a copy of this Resolution shall be sent to Fortenberry and Ballard PC.

This resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

ABSENT:  0 

ABSTAIN: 0

And the resolution was declared adopted this 9th day of November, 2020.

B.     The Board was presented information regarding feasibility study of old Many Junior High School property.  No action was required or taken.

C.     On motion by Daron Chandler and seconded by Donald Garcie it was carried to approve and adopt Policy DJE – Purchasing (second reading).
