1.      Meeting Opening

The Parish School Board of Many, Louisiana, Sabine Parish, met in public session on July 24, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the regular meeting place of said Board, with the following members present:  Terrell Snelling, Board President; Roderick Davis, Board Vice-President; Dr. Leah Byles, Spencer Faust, Donald Garcie, and Donald Remedies.

Absent:  Daron Chandler, Carolyn N. Martin and Dale Skinner

The meeting was called to order by President Terrell Snelling, and after the Invocation given by Rodney Wilson, the Pledge of Allegiance was rendered.

2.      Special Called Agenda Items:

On motion by Roderick Davis and seconded by Spencer Faust, it was carried to amend the agenda to include an additional item as follows:  Consider Awarding bid for the Purchase of a new special education school bus as advertised.

A.     On motion by Roderick Davis and seconded by Spencer Faust, it was carried to award the bid for the new special education school bus to the low bidder Ross Bus and Equipment Sales for $71,599.

B.     On motion by Roderick Davis and seconded by Donald Garcie, it was carried to enter into executive session.

C.     After Discussion regarding the report, development, or course of action regarding security personnel, plans or devices, on motion by Roderick Davis and seconded by Donald Garcie, it was carried to exit Executive Session. 

D.     On Motion by Dr. Byles and seconded by Donald Garcie, it was carried to allow Administration to suspend and/or amend purchasing processes in order to operateeffectively until the special event has passed.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
