The Parish School Board of Many, Louisiana, Sabine Parish, met in a special called public session on August 20, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at the regular meeting place of said Board, with the following members present:  Terrell D. Snelling, President, James R. Martin, Vice-President, Roderick Davis, Dr. Leah Byles, and Donald H. Remedies.

The meeting was called to order by President Terrell D. Snelling, the Invocation was offered and the Pledge of Allegiance was rendered.

Absent:  Daron Chandler, Spencer Faust, William D. Garcie, and Dale Skinner

After introduction by Rodney Wilson, Director of Finance, Perry W. Watson, of Yeager, Watson & Associates, Inc., made recommendations to the Board regarding bids.  On motion of Donald Remedies and seconded by Dr. Leah Byles, it was carried to award bid of Job #2018-11 New Retrofit Metal Roof for Zwolle High School to Morcore Roofing, LLC, of Roanoke, Louisiana.

 On motion by Roderick Davis and seconded by James R. Martin, it was carried to authorize the Administration to advertise for bids for refurbished desktop computers.

On motion by Dr. Leah Byles and seconded by Roderick Davis, it was carried to declare as surplus and seek bids for sale of 2 mini-buses year model 1992 that are no longer able to be utilized.

There was no business under the Superintendent’s Report, informational only.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
