The Parish School Board of Many, Louisiana, Sabine Parish, met in public session on November 10, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. at the regular meeting place of said Board, with the following members present:  James R. Martin, President, Terrell D. Snelling, Vice-President, Roderick Davis, Spencer Faust, William D. Garcie, Imon Jones, Donald H. Remedies, Dale Skinner, and J.A. "Buddy" Veuleman. 

The meeting was called to order by President Martin, the Invocation was offered, the Pledge of Allegiance was rendered and the President welcomed the visitors.

Recognitions and Awards to Individual Schools for Their Achievements were presented by Debra Lee, director of Federal Programs/Curriculum.  The following schools were recognized for their School Performance:

·       Converse High School, Ebarb High School, Florien High School, Many High School, Many Jr. High School, Negreet High School, Pleasant Hill High School, and Zwolle High School

Recognition to Mr. Imon Jones for his years of dedication and service to Sabine Parish Schools was presented by Mr. Randy Martin.

District and School Performance Update was given by Debbie Lee, Director of Federal Programs/Curriculum.

On motion by Terrell Snelling and seconded by William D. Garcie, it was carried to approve the Consent Agenda as follows:

·       Approval and Adoption of October 20, 2014, Minutes, as Signed

·       Approval of Request for Out-of-State Field Trip:

A.    Many High School FCCLA – 21 students and 3 adults to Marshall, Texas on December 4, 2014

On motion by Donald H. Remedies and seconded by Dale Skinner, it was carried to authorize the disposal of the 2002 Zwolle Blue Bird Bus – Capacity 47; Mileage 59,698.

There was no business under the Superintendent’s Report, informational only.

A Technology In-service Training was given by the Sabine Parish School Board IT Department.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
