The Parish School Board of Many, Louisiana, Sabine Parish, met in public session on April 29, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. for a Special Called Meeting at the regular meeting place of said Board, with the following members present: James R. Martin, President, Terrell D. Snelling, Vice-President, Roderick Davis, Spencer Faust, William D. Garcie, Imon Jones, Donald Remedies, Dale Skinner, and J.A. “Buddy” Veuleman.
The meeting was called to order by President Martin, the Invocation was offered, the Pledge of Allegiance was rendered and the President welcomed the visitors.
On motion by Imon Jones and seconded by Donald Remedies, it was carried to approve the Consent Agenda as follows:
· Approval of April 14, 2014 Minutes, as Signed
· Approval of Sabine’s Application Amendment #1 for the Carl Perkins Career and Technical Grant for the 2013-2014 school year
· Approval of the NCLB Consolidated Application 13/14 Spring Allocation Revision
· Approval of the 2013-2014 Budget Revisions
On motion by Roderick Davis and seconded by Spencer Faust, it was carried to Award Base Bid and Alternate #3 to the low bidder, Walker Construction, for the Construction of the New School Facility for Many Elementary School.

A financial workshop was held covering fiscal topics that relate to the school board.
On motion by Donald Remedies and seconded by J.A. “Buddy” Veuleman, it was carried to issue a One (1) Time, Nonrecurring Check in the amount of $1,000 to be Distributed on May 23, 2014 to all full time employees and for any future sales tax supplements to include all full-time employees.
There was no business under the Superintendent’s Report, informational only.
As there was no further business, the meeting adjourned.
