There was a special called meeting on June 23, 2011 at 6:30 at the regular meeting place of the Sabine Parish School Board.  Those in attendance were:  J. A. "Buddy" Veuleman, President, Terrell D. Snelling, Vice-President, Roderick Davis, Spencer Faust, William D. Garcie, Imon Jones, Donald H Remedies, Dale Skinner, and Denyse Williams.  

All members were present.

Also in attendance was Don Burkett, DA.

The meeting was called to order by President Veuleman, the Invocation was offered and the Pledge of Allegiance was rendered.

There was a discussion on the appointment of an Interim Superintendent.  No choice was made at this time.

On motion by Dale Skinner and seconded by Terrell Snelling, it was carried to place Robert Lewis, Business Manager, in charge of the office in the absence of the Superintendent, until an interim can be appointed. 

On motion by Donald H. Remedies and seconded by Imon Jones, it was carried to approve Change Order #4 (Four) for the new addition at Zwolle Elementary School.  This would be an additional amount of $1,912.22.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
